At long last we are delighted to let you know the debut from out latest Starla act - 'The Privates Hammond Orchestra' is out now on Starla/RecordKicks 45 and mp3.
The storming R&B of The Privates backing Joe Kane with his composition on the A-side with "I'm Sorry (Can I Please Come Home)" and the B-side has The Privates own "The Battle of Yoker" an instrumental tittyshaker style workout that has echoes of Jack McDuff and Booker T & the MGs.
The single is in stock and ready for download over at the RecordKicks wesbite and in all good vendors Worldwide from this week. Reactions so far have been fantastic, with great feedback from djs, critics and dancers alike as well as play on the airwaves from the likes of Mark Lamarr on BBC Radio 2's 'God's Jukebox'.
